Mugwort Herbal Foot Soak

💧 East-West Herbal Fusion for Relaxation, Circulation & Detox

This blend unites Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) wisdom with Western herbal energetics, creating a foot soak that's cleansing, grounding, and circulation-boosting.

1. Prepare your foot basin:

  • Fill your foot tub or basin with enough warm water to cover your ankles. Let the temp be around 40-50C (warm, not too hot).

  • Add mugwort packet, lavender cotton, rosemary, and sage (I put the loose herbs in a sachet). Let it soak for a few minutes until the water reaches roughly 38C.

2. Soak:

  • Place feet in the soak and relax for 20–30 minutes.

  • Breathe deeply, listen to calming music or meditate for full-body relaxation.

✨ TCM Benefits of Mugwort:

  • Warms yang: Excellent for cold, tired feet or winter use.

  • Dispels damp and cold: Supports people with sluggish digestion or fatigue from damp environments.

  • Moves Qi and blood: Aids circulation and menstrual flow.

  • Calms the Shen: Eases anxiety, restlessness, and sleep issues.

🌿 Western Herbal Highlights:

  1. Lavender Cotton: Balances the skin, subtly warms and tones, adds antimicrobial support.

  2. Rosemary: Boosts circulation to tired feet, enhances mental clarity.

  3. Sage: Clears energetic “stuckness,” fights odor, supports skin health.

*Not recommended during pregnancy without professional guidance (mugwort is an emmenagogue)

You can add any herbs and flowers you'd like. I do rotations on them depending on what I feel my body needs.
