3-Ingredient Raw Cacao Bliss Bites

Ingredients:

  • 120g raw walnuts

  • 150g pitted dates (about 10-12 dates)

  • 30g raw cacao powder

  • A dash of water

Instructions:

  1. Prep the walnuts: Place the walnuts in a food processor and pulse a few times until they’re coarsely chopped.

  2. Set aside: approximately half of the blended walnut powder in a seperate bowl, whilst keeping the rest in the food processor.

  3. Blend the dates: Add the dates & cacao powder and blend. Add in a bit of water whilst blending depending on how dry or moist your dates are. Until they reach a consistency where the paste doesn’t have lumps and starts sticking together.

  4. Form the bites: Scoop out a tablespoon of the mixture and roll it into a ball with your hands. Repeat for the entire mixture.

  5. Coat the bites: Roll each cacao bite in the reserved walnut powder for a nice texture and extra flavor.

  6. Chill: Place the bites in the fridge for at 30 minutes to firm up. Or enjoy straight away!

  7. Enjoy: I love raw cacao bites as a sweet, but healthy snack and energy boost! It’s a hit with toddlers.

They are packed with healthy ingredients and can easily be made in larger batches if desired and customised with shredded coconut, other nuts, goji berries, liquid honey & bees pollen. Enjoy!

This is the desired consistency. It will look a bit sticky, and you can wet your hands slightly when you are handling and rolling the paste.

Laying everything out like this makes it easier to make a big batch all at once
